Well after 4 years of competitive dancing with Studio Allegro and Tiffany Dance Company, Jocelyn and Zoey's Team finally won a high point trophy. Mind you this trophy is 6 ft tall and towers over every one of the dancers. We were competing in Taylorsville with Champion Productions and the Girls did not feel as if the day were going well at all, Zoey and Jocey had already voiced their disappointment with themselves about their performances, so needless to say, when they announced that their Production Dance Piece (14 minutes long) of Indiana Jones won high point over all, Zoey began crying, What a great ending to a good day!

Congrats to you all! Were your girls with me the year we won the "Big One" for Pirates? The same thing happened to us! We were leaving the building and the directors caught up to us with the trophy and an apology for the mix up. No announcement, no celebrating. It happens. It's the only trophy I kept after retiring - it's still in the dungeon. Give your girls a hug from "Miss" Karen. I'm so proud of them!
