WE MADE IT!!!! 18 YEARS! On December 28, 2008 we celebrated our 18th Wedding Anniversay. We have made it through- the Good- the Bad- the Ugly- and now we are at The Wonderful. I would have to say the more challenges that Chris and I face together, the stronger our Marriage gets. We were lucky to be able to go to Las Vegas for 3 days with the help of Chris's Parents. We drove down on Sunday morning and spent Sunday, Monday and came home Tuesday morning. The highlights of our trip were; eating In-n-Out 3 times, alone time, No Snow, The Valet losing our Suburban, alone time, Walking in the sun, Blisters on my feet (high heels), Watching people go into debt..., sleeping in until 10 am, "MAMA MIA" Performance, The House of Blues, Palm Trees, ESPN, alone time, Rock'em Sock'em Robots, And a lot of time to catch up with each other. The long weekend was great and well needed. Chris and I are very lucky and happy to have the marriage and family that we have and love each other more and more each day!

This is the snow we got!~!~! On December 26th It measured at 21" and boy and I am sick of it. But we took all the kids with their cousins to Riverbend Golf Course and they sled down the driving range hill, It is quite the adventure. It was so cold we only lasted about 30-45 minutes and we were absolutly frozen!!

Ok, so yes the snow came and came on Christmas eve and Christmas Day! But all in all the kids had a fun day. We have finally gotten past the early risers syndrome on Christmas morning, We were all up by 8:30am and ready to get things going. After opening some gifts and playing our annual movie game (new wrapped DVD's) we were all ready to go to a movie. Thanks to Grandpa Rowbotham, we are able to take the kids each year to a movie on Christmas Day and take them out to a fun family dinner the day after christmas. This year we saw "Bedtime Stories" (Adam Sandler, awesome) with our next door neighbors and dear friends the "Hudson's" and we took the kids to Chili's on Friday night. As for Chris and I we shoveled and plowed snow about 6 times in 3 days. and we are finally sick of snow, oh yeh Alice has always hated the SNOW!
