The Decision has been made!!! After being accepted to many Universities in Utah and offered a few scholarships and ambassadorships - Alissa has chosen to attend BYU Provo this Fall, We are really excited for her and this decision. It was a really tough decision to make seeing she does not have many friends attending or even being accepted to the Y and she will be starting a new chapter in her life basically on her own. She knew this was the right decision and we are so Proud of her hard work and dedication to get accepted based on her academics and extra curricular involvement in high school!! WAY to GO LISS!
(Kind of helps the whole family has been completely Jimmered!)

A Funny thing happened on the way to Dance Comp...

Zoey, my dancing fanatic - Has been teaching dance with Tiffany Dance company for 4 years. She has also been performing in competition groups for 6 years and this year she finally retired from competition and just focused on teaching, choreographing solos for girls, and dancing at the High School. So March 18th was the first competition of the dance season for Zoey's Girls and well she decided to hitch a ride to Kearns High School on Friday night and watch the solo competitions. Mind you I was in St George with my boys at a baseball tournament and Alissa was working and Chris was working, so she had no means of transportation. While attending the Competition, Tiffany, her boss and former dance teacher asked her if she would fill in for a missing soloist and just improvise a routine. Zoey basically, through on some spankies, a t-shirt put her hair on top of her head and went to it, improvising a 2 minute routine on the spot. After performing for this missing soloist, Tiffany told Zoey she would call her and let her know if she placed or not - Well this is where it gets good... Not only did Zoey place
She WON QUEEN -
That is for anyone who is not familiar with Dance Competitions is the Top placer in her division for her routine! REALLY ? Having never competed as a soloist and improvising the whole routine?
WAY TO GO ZO!!!
You freaking amaze me and gave me an amazing story to be extremely proud of!
