So, As of March 7, 2011, Chris is back to Work. It's been a long 8 months, for ALL of us! But I know he feels a sense of relief. We have turned back the clock 20 years and started all over, but have Faith that this is the place we are supposed to be and what was meant to be. A few Changes, Chris has to learn to adapt to;
- Freedoms of being your own boss, NONE
- Has to clock in and out
- First time ever having a daily commute more than 5 minutes
- Can't ask for time off...
- Must dress nicely each day (I like that part)
- Not here to help with Activities, Sports, Driving, Cleaning, Laundry (This part he loves)
- New Business Environment all together, Training, homework, licenses
We are really proud of Chris and his hard work to obtain a new job. It has been rough and sometimes downright horrible. Lots of ups and downs, and even down right sucker punches at times, but The kids and I have done our best to support his decision to leave the Family Business, take on additional debt, and look for other employment. I think in the long run, the possibility of advancement within the new company will be great and he always gives 150% to anything he touches. We are willing to stick it out til our ship comes in or sinks, which ever comes first! Like I always say We may not have it all together but Together we have it all! So we rise or fall together - in either situation we will be together forever!
(Actually some days to the girls I am pretty sure that Forever seems like an awfully long time - Especially when it is a clothing fight...)
